Coverage

Washington, DC property-record coverage.

One jurisdiction, in depth: taxes, assessments, sales, permits and certificates of occupancy, licenses, inspections, and energy benchmarks. Quoin resolves each record to the property account, keeps sources attached, and separates building context from exact parcel facts.

How properties are identified

The District square, suffix, and lot identifier is the property-account key. Address resolution uses the official Master Address Repository and its address-to-SSL relationships.

An exact address can still map to multiple official parcels. Quoin returns the bounded parcel set and requires the caller to select the intended SSL instead of guessing.

Source and license posture

Quoin uses official District releases and attributes the publishing agencies. The District catalog has general terms, while individual datasets can publish a more specific license; the source-specific notice controls.

The public Quoin site does not provide a downloadable dataset distribution. For that reason this page does not claim Dataset structured data or a public data download. MCP is available now; API access is by request.

Coverage limits

  • No coverage claim beyond Washington, DC is made.
  • No complete deed-image or title chain, tax-bill PDF archive, parcel geometry, leases, NOI, or appraisal dataset is represented.
  • A permit or license record does not establish completion, compliance, ownership, or occupancy.
  • The current government portal can be newer than a release pinned by Quoin.
